The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, demons, and sinister influences growing in influence within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will separate from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem unsuited, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering the secret base, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, beyond the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could help the party enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them few options but to head to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Explorers and Planners tables.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be where in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on October 24.
