Christantus Uche Sparks Straightforward Crystal Palace Triumph at Shelbourne.
Despite embarking on their first-ever continental adventure, Oliver Glasner's side are learning at a rapid pace. Without key players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a comfortable result that virtually secures them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure straight entry to the knockout stages, particularly following a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Opportunity
This occasion offered a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, in only his second start after joining on loan from Getafe, opened the account with a well-taken goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, scoring for the second consecutive succession.

The match was as good as over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past some weak challenges before coolly dispatching a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest several players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring his first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still room for improvement in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
